Getting started with Stelaah, your first week

A clean desk with a closed laptop, an empty notebook and a steaming coffee at sunrise

Starting a new workspace can feel like a mountain of setup. It does not have to. The best first week with Stelaah is calm and concrete: move one real client in, run them end to end, and let the rest reveal itself. Here is a day by day path.

A calm first week

You do not need to import years of history or configure every feature before you begin. You need one real client running in one place. Everything else you will learn by doing, in the natural order the work asks for it.

Day one, move one client in

Pick your most active client and create their record. Add their contact details, and if you have a recent contract or brief, attach it. That single client record is the anchor everything else will connect to.

Day two, set up a project

Create a project for the work you are doing with that client. Add the main tasks, set a few due dates, and put any files where they belong. You now have the work and the relationship in one place, which is the whole idea.

Day three, send an invoice

Send your next real invoice from Stelaah. If you tracked any time against the project, watch it flow into the invoice as line items. This is the moment most people feel the difference: billing as a click, not a chore.

Day four, meet Aria

Ask Aria to do something real: draft a follow up email, summarize where the project stands, or create a task from a quick note. Let it take one piece of busywork off your plate so you can feel what an assistant that knows your work is like.

Day five, invite the team

If you work with others, invite them in. Assign a task, share the project, and let presence and assignments reflect who is actually doing what. A workspace is better with the people who share the work in it.

Where to go next

By Friday you will have one client running end to end, an invoice sent, and Aria helping. From here, add the next client, then the one after, and let the workspace grow at the pace of your real work. That is all it takes.

Run your client work in one place. Stelaah keeps projects, clients, contracts, and invoices together, with Aria for the busywork.
